Brasswork Agency was born and raised in Chicago now operating in Los Angeles. His clean tech rhythms suit perfectly the simple and tight melodies that draw heavily from Chicago's historical acid house style.

The FMs

The FMs are Steve Nalepa and Justin Rickles, Chicago-born, LA-based music and multimedia event producers. With influences ranging from Aphex Twin and Brian Eno to the Fantastic Planet soundtrack, The FMs have forged their own signature sound on their first release.

Heavy Petting

Heavy Petting is the collaboration of jRicK and Alexander Bassett. VJ Myles Faigin accompanies them for live performances. Playing tons of shows mostly curated by themselves, they have produced a long list of music that sounds like no IDM or techno you have heard before, and sounding totally different than either two musician on their own.

Sinuous

jRicK performed as Sinuous from 1996 through 2004. Sinuous’ trademark rolling hi-hats and pulsing bass melodies reflect a direct and smooth blend of 90's Berlin with 90's Chicago techno. Classic beats tangled with fresh textures define each track. As a DJ and live performer, Sinuous has played the most underground art and rave events from New York to California.

Woman is the New Man

Woman is the New Man is an electronic duo from Chicago. Comprised of synth-freakout S.E.T.H. and Rhythm-thick jRicK, WnM challenges genre pigeonholes, dancing with graceful ambiance from four-on-the-floor to drum-n-bass beats. Simple yet clever melodies massage your soul while meticulous rhythm compositions evolve patiently. Each song is a journey. The project remains studio-based, yet live performances have occurred.
